Youth Indoor Tennis Lessons - Tennis Lessons Ages 6-8 Red Ball Red Ball for ages 6-8. This is played on the red ball (36’) court and focuses on development of tennis skills. This includes balance, coordination, cooperation, racquet skills, and learning to rally with minimal scoring. Players will learn the basics of shot making and have clear goals from the beginning. Success and fun are the first and last goal!Orange Ball for ages 7-10. This class is played on the modified 60’ court designed for 10 and under tennis. The focus of the class is on developing skills such as racquet skills, keeping score, footwork and agility, rallying, and cooperative competition. Success and fun are the first and last goal!Green Ball for ages 10-12. This class is played on the full 78’ court. This is a transitional class preparing players for full pressure tennis balls. The green ball bounces just a little lower, helping younger players develop technique as they grow. We will work on development of technique, shot making, scoring, and competition as we prepare them for high school tennis.

This includes balance, coordination, cooperation, racquet skills, and learning to rally with minimal scoring. Players will learn the basics of shot making and have clear goals from the beginning. Success and fun are the first and last goal!Orange Ball for ages 7-10. This class is played on the modified 60’ court designed for 10 and under tennis. The focus of the class is on developing skills such as racquet skills, keeping score, footwork and agility, rallying, and cooperative competition. Success and fun are the first and last goal!Green Ball for ages 10-12. This class is played on the full 78’ court. This is a transitional class preparing players for full pressure tennis balls. The green ball bounces just a little lower, helping younger players develop technique as they grow. KTA High School Tennis Class - High School Tennis Class -THURSDAY This class is for someone who is very focused on improving their tennis game and match training. It will consist of competitive training, conditioning and drilling. This class will be an opportunity to improve strategy, technique and match skills. It is geared towards the high school varsity player and JV players working on climbing their team’s ladder. Players will be divided into two groups (5:30pm-6:30pm OR 6:30pm-7:30pm) in an attempt to keep numbers manageable and to allow each player increased opportunities to hit more shots and play against players of similar ability. The decision of the KTA teaching professionals and the hour each player is assigned will be final. Assigned class times will be sent out Monday, November 4, prior to the first class.
