CHESS TOURNAMENTS: KINDERGARTEN-ADULT, Scholastic/Casual sections $10.00 ($15 day of registration) or USCF Section $35 ($40 day of registration)
These chess tournaments are ideal for all kids and adults. There will be various sections to suit all abilities. The USCF Section is for experienced chess enthusiasts. To participate in UCSF, you must have a current USCF Member ID, so please provide your Member ID number when signing up. Tournaments to be held at the Harmon Park Activity Center.
Scholastic Rookie: K-5th Grade students with a working knowledge of how the pieces move.
Scholastic Junior: 6th-8th Grade
Scholastic Senior: 9th-12th Grade
Any student can sign up for any section that is above their current section. We will not allow students to sign up for lower sections.
Casual Section: This section will be for adults who want to get accustomed to tournament chess.
