Start Smart Sports Development
The START SMART program brings parents and children together to have fun, while practicing fundamental skills and progressions of sport. The Sports Development program will be held at various City of Kearney locations and may introduce sports like soccer, baseball/softball, tennis, and more. Our goal is to help give your young athlete a positive and successful start in sports and help parents learn some fundamental teaching techniques. START SMART utilizes the unique line of Koosh products, which have been proven to be safe in developing motor skills in children. All participants will receive a START SMART manual and a certificate of completion. Endorsed by the National Alliance for Youth Sports.
