Chess Tournaments
Hosted by the Central Nebraska Chess Club, this tournament is open to players of all ages and skill levels. Multiple sections are offered so everyone can compete against players of similar experience. Tournaments will be held at the Harmon Park Activity Center.
The USCF Section is designed for experienced tournament players. A current USCF membership is required to participate, so please provide your USCF Member ID when registering.
The Scholastic and Casual sections are intended for players who are new to tournament chess or who are looking for a fun, welcoming competitive experience. On-site registration and check-in for these sections will be from 11:30am –12:15pm, with play beginning at 12:30pm. Each participant is guaranteed five games.
• Scholastic Rookie: K-5th Grade students with a working knowledge of how the pieces move.
• Scholastic Junior: 6th-8th Grade
• Scholastic Senior: 9th-12th Grade
• Any student can sign up for any section that is above their current section. We will not allow students to sign up for lower sections.
• Casual Section: This section will be for adults who want to get accustomed to tournament chess.
FALL TOURNAMENT:
Saturday, November 7
USCF Section: *8:30am-5:00pm

Casual/Scholastic: *12:30-4:00pm
