The arts are an opportunity to explore, create and have fun. Kids of all ages can relate to the universal appeal of music, theater, and dance. It is for this reason that we bring to you a series of classes that challenge kids to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. The intention is to have fun through imagination and play. All Classes are offered through Crane River Theater. The final day of classes will include a performance for families and friends. All classes are generously supported by the Nebraska Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Specific class content questions should be directed toward Crane River Theatre at 627-5796.
TAKE THE STAGE – MOANA JR.!: 5th-8th Grade. *$150
We’re putting on a show! Kids can take the stage with Crane River Theater this summer as they present Moana Jr. the Musical! Learn what it takes to be a part of a show, from auditions, casting, rehearsal, and finally, to putting on a show for friends and family. Kids will bring the world of Moana to life through staged scenes, music, and choreography, all while focusing on creativity, collaboration, and communication. Join us for this awesome performance opportunity, we can’t wait to see “how far you’ll go!”.

DINOS AND DRAGONS: K-1st Grade. *$45
Travel to when Dinosaurs roamed the land and when mythical Dragons lurked behind every corner! Use your imagination to create never-before-seen creatures and go on adventures through jungles, castles, and caves. The sky’s the limit, so flap those dragon wings and stomp those T-Rex feet and join us for stories, games and songs about Dinos and Dragons!

ADVENTURES OF DOG MAN: 2nd-3rd Grade. *$45
It’s time for an adventure! Jump into the world of OK City where kids will solve mysteries and create their own Dog Man adventures through imagination and active storytelling. It’s a great chance for kids to get moving, stretch their creative muscles, and work together to create an unforgettable story!

LET’S MAKE A MUSICAL: 3rd-4th Grade. *$45
Let the imagination run wild in one of our most popular classes. Discover the art of creating and performing your own musical. Kids will bring a story to life as they create songs from popular melodies to tell a theatrical story of their very own.
