Kearney Junior Team Tennis

This program is designed to give girls and boys of all skill levels the opportunity to play, learn, and enjoy the sport of tennis in an energetic and organized atmosphere.  Players will be placed on a coached team and receive a team tennis shirt.  Teams will meet three times a week for practice, supervised games and matches against players of comparable abilities.  Games will be modified according to skill level.  Tournaments will be scheduled on occasion.  The USTA “10 & Under” format will be used for grades 1st-5th, which includes modified court sizes and foam or low compression balls.  Some racquets are available if needed.  An awards ceremony will be held for all participants the last week.   This program is led by Troy Saulsbury, Kearney High School Tennis Coach.   This program is sponsored by the Kearney Sertoma Club. Grade is based off of 2022-2023 school year. Please indicate shirt size when registering. Register by Thursday, May 26 to guarantee your t-shirt size.
