Landscape Plant Basics for Homeowners

When selecting plants for a landscape, gardeners need to consider several points very early in the planning process. Simply going to a garden center and picking out something pretty and planting it without considering several factors often lead to problems later.  Join our City Horticulturist, Coelette Gruber, as she covers such plant topics as: studying site conditions, understanding the requirements and growth characteristics of plants, and careful plant selection.  A question and answer period will be included to discuss any landscape plant challenges you may be experiencing.  If time permits, we will work through individual right plant scenarios.  Free seminar, but pre-registration is required at least three days in advance.
